Eight weeks is enough time to start something real.
The Mini Incubator is CFA's signature design studio for students in 3rd through 5th grade — a place where your child doesn't just make something, they design something. Over eight weeks, they'll move through the full creative process: developing an original idea, making real decisions about materials and construction, solving problems as they come up, and finishing with a wearable piece that is entirely their own.
This is not a craft class. Every student works on something different, guided by an experienced CFA instructor in a small studio where each child's idea gets real attention.
What your child will experience:
- Their first real introduction to fashion design and construction
- The creative process from a blank idea to a finished, wearable piece
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and learning to adapt when things don't go as planned
- The confidence that only comes from finishing what you started
No fashion experience needed. The Mini Incubator is designed for beginners who are ready to take the next step — whether they're coming from CFA's Creative Fashion Club or walking through our door for the first time.
Already been to the Mini Incubator? The natural next step is The Atelier.
A note for parents: Our studio is intentionally small. Every child is seen, every idea is taken seriously, and every student leaves with something they made — not a kit, not a template. Just their own work.
