Fashion Runway Production After-School Program!

This is a 6-week session where students will dive into the world of fashion design, learning how to create and upcycle their own clothes and accessories. All materials will be provided (including a curated selection of pre-loved clothes and accessories to upcycle), but kids are also welcome to bring their own items to upcycle or embellish. Kids keep everything they design.

All grades K-5 are welcome!
• Location: High Point Elementary
• Time: Mondays, after school, from 2:55 PM to 4:25 PM (1.5 hours)
• Session Start Date: Monday, September 29th
• Cost: $250 per student for the entire 6-week session

At the end of the program, students will showcase their creations in a real fashion show! Each student will receive two free tickets to the Columbus Fashion Academy Fall Fashion Show at CCAD on November 16th, 2025, to watch their hard work take the stage.

Kids are free. If you have more than 2 adults who are coming to watch the show, you can purchase extra tickets online later in September. Extra tickets will have a suggested $20/person donation, which works as a fundraiser for our nonprofit of choice (The Fashion Community).

11/16 runway show starts at 4 pm. Backstage production (hair and makeup + rehearsal) happens between 2-4 pm. Our fashion artists should be dropped off at the Canzani Center at 2 pm (building where the big runway is located /right next to the Columbus Museum of Art). More details will come closer to showtime. During the time kids are getting ready, VIP guests (parents/families and friends) will be invited to tour and hang out in our studio downtown, which is a block away (122 N. Grant Ave - CCAD campus), or visit the Columbus Museum of Art.
