We’re Opening Our Very First Afterschool Day Program in Our New Downtown Studio!

This fall marks a big milestone for us—we’re launching our first-ever afterschool program at our new studio located on the CCAD campus, inspired by our flagship Fashion Runway Production program—but even better!

Program Details:

• When: Wednesdays, 3:15–4:45 p.m. (afternoon session)
• Dates: October 8 – November 12 (6 weeks)
• Runway Show: Sunday, November 16 (doors will open at 3:30PM. Show starts at 4pm.

For six weeks, kids will dream, sketch, and bring their designs to life—turning deadstock fabrics and pre-loved garments into stunning, one-of-a-kind runway looks. From hand and machine sewing to embroidery, painting, upcycling (think pants into tops, tops into skirts), creating appliqués, and designing accessories—they’ll transform waste into wonder.

But this class goes far beyond fashion and fun (though we promise there’s plenty of both!). It’s about:

• Artistic freedom: Being unapologetically yourself.
• Intentionality: Learning slow fashion and caring for people and the planet.
• Life skills: Creative problem-solving, teamwork, communication, leadership, resilience, and persistence.
• Connection: A tech-free environment where kids collaborate and grow, guided by caring instructors who are not only skilled but deeply passionate about youth development and lifelong learning.

We’re proud to say that we are the pioneers of sustainable fashion education for kids in Ohio, starting with just two students back in 2017. Today, our programs continue to inspire confidence, creativity, and purpose in every child who walks through our doors.

Refund Policy

How to request: Email afterschool@columbusfashionacademy.com with your student’s name, course title, and start date.

Timing & amounts

• 4+ weeks before the start date: 100% refund minus a $25 administrative fee per course.
• 2–4 weeks before the start date: 50% refund minus a $25 administrative fee per course.
• Less than 2 weeks before the start date: No refunds.
• Nonattendance does not count as a withdrawal.
