Sign up to Volunteer on Monday 5/19. Students can get service hours.
We need volunteers of all ages to help elementary kids get hair, makeup, and nails done. This is super fun and simple. You do not need to be a professional. Many kids just want their hair braided, straightened or curled. Simple stuff. Makeup also usually just lipstick and eyeliner touch.
CFA Volunteer Hours:
4-6 pm Backstage Support
6-7 pm Fashion Show and Cleanup
Some of the roles aside from beauty, usher, check-in guests, photographer and videographer. Let us know if you have a favorite.

Important Tips to Families to Help Get Kids Ready for the Show
1. Bring a Bin
Use a bin with a lid to keep all your child’s things in one place—shoes, clothes, jewelry, makeup, hairbrush, water bottle, etc. Label the bin with your child’s name to avoid losing anything.

2. Hair Prep
Do not wash your child’s hair after 4 PM on Sunday. This helps their scalp stay fully dry for easier styling on Monday afternoon when we do hair styling backstage from 4-6pm.

3. What to Wear Under Outfits
Please have your child wear a fitted base layer under their regular clothes—something like a dance leotard, fitted tank top, shorts, or leggings. This helps them feel more comfortable and confident when changing or if they have a shorter design like a mini skirt or strapless top.
4.Snack
We suggest kids eat before coming over, but if you think your child might be hungry, please pack them a snack PLUS a water bottle.
